Hertz employee joins collision repair education foundation

Scott Bridges of Hertz Joins Collision Repair Education Foundation Board of Trustees

Scott Bridges, vice president of sales replacement accounts of The Hertz Corporation has joined the Collision Repair Education Foundation Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees consists of industry members who provide guidance in the organization’s efforts to support secondary and post-secondary collision students nationwide. The Board selects recipients of the organization’s annual student scholarships and tool grants in addition to naming the winning Ultimate Collision Education Makeover schools.

“I would like to thank Scott for joining our Board of Trustees,” said Collision Repair Education Foundation Board of Trustees Chairman Terry Fortner of LKQ Corp. “Hertz understands the importance and need for qualified collision students to enter this industry and Scott will be a valuable addition to our Board of Trustees as we work towards taking this organization to the next level.”

Added Bridges, “I’m delighted to be elected to the Collision Repair Education Foundation Board of Trustees to represent Hertz. The Foundation does great work to help both the students and schools in the collision industry to ensure a robust group of qualified technicians enter the industry each year.”

Bridges has more than 23 years of experience working in car rental and serving the insurance replacement industry. For the past 16 years, he has been with The Hertz Corporation and currently oversees insurance replacement sales activity, which includes all insurance national accounts and large MSO relationships. Prior to his current role as vice president, he was regional sales manager overseeing all sales activity in the West Central Region. Before moving to Denver to oversee the West Central Region sales, he lived in the San Francisco Bay area and managed Hertz’s largest insurance replacement account at that time. Prior to joining Hertz, he spent over six years with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in roles of progressing responsibility.
