AkzoNobel Automotive & Aerospace Coatings North America (A&AC) marked the third decade of offering business services in the North American market through its Sikkens Acoat selected program. The milestone was observed during the Winter North American Performance Group meeting, a semi-annual gathering of Acoat selected North American businesses, Feb. 12-14 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The three-day program was designed to enhance the performance of individuals and businesses represented through a mutually beneficial exchange of information, success stories and consultation.
Early-bird classes were led by Marcy Tieger of Symphony Advisors and Greg Horn of Mitchell International. In addition, “walk-about” programs dealing with both current issues and future trends were conducted.
Attendees also were treated to a series of tours at Acoat selected collision repair centers. These shops were:
- Island Fender
- Kroda Autobody
- Oka’s Autobody
- Acme Fender
“As one of the world’s largest paint and coatings companies, we know our customers find value in these engagements,” said Barry Rinehart, North American commercial services leader for AkzoNobel Automotive & Aerospace Coatings. “As always, the numbers tell the story. As we enter our third decade of providing cutting-edge business development programs, many of the shops that were with us in the beginning remain with us today. We wouldn’t have that kind of loyalty if there wasn’t something of value being delivered and received.”
