Hundreds of North American team members participated in “Get Your Pink On” day to show their support for co-workers, family members, friends and anyone who has been affected by breast cancer.

“Unfortunately, this disease has impacted the lives of millions of people, including the lives of many in the Axalta family,” said Axalta Vice President Nigel Budden, who leads the company’s North American business. “In this small way, we wanted to show our support for awareness, research and the well-being of survivors and their families.”

Axalta brought fun to the day by having a contest that consisted of the facility with the highest percentage of pink wearers winning “bragging rights” and a lunch celebration. Axalta’s Front Royal manufacturing plant and Atlanta call center tied for first place with 100 percent participation.
