Former State Farm Employee Bob Medved Joins S/P2 Training Organization

S/P2, a company that helps the automotive service and repair industry meet annual OSHA and EPA requirements, has announced the addition of Bob Medved as senior account manager and industry representative. He will be working from his office in Bloomington, Ill.

Medved brings many years of experience in the automotive industry to S/P2, first as a collision technician, then as an auto collision/refinishing instructor, and finally as a longtime member of the staff at State Farm.

“With Bob’s wide range of experience in all the areas we serve, he will be a huge asset to our team,” said S/P2 President Kyle Holt. “He is extremely dedicated to helping instructors and shop owners protect their organizations, their students and employees, and themselves.”

As senior account manager at S/P2, Medved will be responsible for growing S/P2 across the automotive industry in collision shops, insurance companies and schools nationwide.

In his 36 years with State Farm, Medved served as the first full-time instructor to teach in the Auto Estimator and PD Supervisor schools at the corporate office, and co-founded the CRASH Unit to provide repair and damage estimating information to claims staff. He was also instrumental in the creation of Hi-Tech Toolbox, producing videos on automotive design, damage and estimating.

Medved has served on many Collision Industry Conference and National Auto Body Council committees and has been a member of each estimating software provider’s advisory boards. He’s passionate about the work he does with SkillsUSA and remains heavily involved in skilled trade education.
