Matrix System Continues Partnership with ‘Counting Cars’ and ‘American Restoration’

Both shows air on Tuesdays at 9 and 10 p.m. EST, respectively, on the History Channel.

Matrix System Automotive Finishes has announced its continued partnership and support for the History Channel’s hit reality TV shows, “Counting Cars” and “American Restoration.” Both shows debuted on Tuesday, Jan. 7, with “Counting Cars” at 9 p.m. EST followed by “American Restoration” at 10 p.m. EST.

Danny Koker and the crew from Count’s Kustoms, his Vegas-based auto repair business, are behind the wheel again for all new episodes of “Counting Cars.” The heat is on as the guys buy, trick out and re-sell classic cars, bikes and more. Koker is obsessed, so the more rides he buys, the faster they have to move to keep Count’s Kustoms in business.

“American Restoration” follows Rick Dale, owner of Rick’s Restorations in Las Vegas, and his team as they take one-of-a-kind broken-down pieces of American history and bring them back to life. Every project presents unique challenges for Dale and his team, who develop inventive processes to finish each job flawlessly and on time. From 1960s NASA jet packs to 1920s grand pianos, the old items Dale restores become new again.

Matrix System has been the sole automotive paint supplier for both “Counting Cars” and “American Restoration.” From primer to basecoat to final clearcoat finish, the paint specialists at Count’s Kustoms and Rick’s Restorations have been loyal to the Matrix System brand.

“We have enjoyed the success of each of these shows and have utilized it as a way to further connect with our body shops and professional painters,” said Dave Brunori, president of Quest Automotive Products. “The results of our involvement have been highly recognized, and we are excited about this season when the guys at Count’s Kustoms and Rick’s Restorations get to show off the superior quality of our products on the projects they work on.”
