Carubba Collision announced that Joseph Carubba, president and CEO of Carubba Collision Corp., along with City of Jamestown, N.Y., Mayor Sam Teresi, oversaw the grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 1st at the new Carubba Collision Jamestown, N.Y., location.

The new shop is the former location of Gary’s CARSTAR, which has been in operation for the past 21 years. Former proprietor Gary Adams, who has been in the body shop business for 45 years, will continue to handle the mechanical work and towing and also serve as a consultant.

“Jamestown and Chautauqua County are great communities, and we are very excited for the opportunity to have our company become an integral part of a growing area,” said Carubba. “It is our desire to bring that same high level of quality auto body service to the Southern Tier that our customers have enjoyed for so many years in Erie and Niagara Counties.”

Teresi, the officiator, added, “We want to welcome Carubba Collision to our city, and we look forward to a long-working relationship with this outstanding company who brings with them a track record of award-winning, cutting-edge technology in the auto body industry.”

Carubba Collision’s new Jamestown location has retained the 15 employees who previously worked for Gary’s CARSTAR, has hired four new employees from the Jamestown area and will add more people once the facility’s expansion plans are completed. The new facility also includes an Enterprise Rent-A-Car operation on site. Also included on site are multiple insurance companies to handle all customer claims.
