CCC Becomes Exclusive Provider of UpdatePromise.com Services

CCC Information Services Inc. and UpdatePromise.com announced today that CCC has become the exclusive provider of the UpdatePromise solution for the automotive claims and collision repair industries.

The UpdatePromise solution, which will be rebranded CCC ONE UpdatePlus, will be integrated with the CCC ONE Total Repair Platform, making repairer-customer-insurer status update communications automatic while keeping all parties in sync whenever key repair milestones are met.

“CCC has been working with UpdatePromise for several months to develop an easier-to-use, integrated and more streamlined status update solution for the APD industry,” said Jim Dickens, senior vice president of CCC’s Automotive Services Group. “With the CCC ONE platform, we’ve found that true integration is what drives efficiency, and this is just another example of that philosophy at work. We’re very excited about how this can help repairers and insurers improve the customer experience.”

Curtis Nixon, president of UpdatePromise.com, added, “This is an exciting relationship for UpdatePromise.com. CCC works with the largest network of repair professionals and has a proven track record of technology innovation. This combination offers tremendous improvement in repairer-customer-insurer communications.”

The CCC ONE UpdatePlus solution will be available as an integrated or stand-alone solution next month. As soon as a shop creates a new repair order or creates a vehicle arrival event, CCC ONE UpdatePlus immediately starts sending friendly, daily repair updates to the customer in the form of a text message and/or e-mail. Once the repair is completed, CCC ONE UpdatePlus continues to send appropriately timed messages to the customer throughout the first year to help drive referrals and repeat business.
