CollisionPartsSource.com Adds Manufacturer Coupons, Expands to Australia and U.K.

VehicleOwnersGuide.com recently announced that www.CollisionPartsSource.com, its parts e-commerce platform, has added the capability for parts suppliers to present coupons to U.S. and Canadian repairers when they review estimates on EstimateScrubber.com. In addition, the site is now available for free use by collision repair facilities in Australia and the United Kingdom.

“Coupons have been around for a long time, are well understood and work well," said Steven Siessman, president of VehicleOwnersGuide.com. "We’ve expanded the e-parts platform so suppliers can offer coupons to repairers for specific items on specific jobs. What we like about coupons is they’re simple to understand, simple to use and don’t require additional work responding to electronic request for quotes or auctions."

Coupons are individually serial numbered, have an expiration date and are good for a particular item. Suppliers create the coupon offers, the coupons can be presented to repairers during the scrubbing process, and repairers print and use them as a normal part of their parts ordering workflow.

“We’re equally excited to begin our expansion to the European and Austral-Asian markets," said Siessman. "Collision repairers can use our system to search for needed parts or list their parts ‘wish list’ for free. This presents an opportunity for repairers in one market to more easily source hard to find parts. For example, Holden Jackaroo parts are hard to get in North America but in abundance in Australia. The system makes it easier for collision repairers to expand their parts search to other collision repairers on three continents.”
