CCC Introduces CCC ONE Repair Methods for Insurance

Vehicle complexity is increasing dramatically with new and advanced safety equipment, sensors, computers and materials being introduced each year. For appraisers, finding the repair procedures needed to write an accurate estimate can be time consuming, and because information is often contained in multiple, disparate locations, the potential for mistakes exists. To address these challenges, CCC Information Services Inc. has announced the availability of CCC ONE Repair Methods for Insurance, a software solution that integrates repair procedure data from all major OEMs with CCC ONE Estimating, allowing for quick and easy access to repair procedure data.

“Easy access to repair procedure data is a great benefit to appraisers,” said Barrett Callaghan, SVP for CCC Information Services Inc. “By integrating repair procedure data with our CCC ONE Estimating for Insurance solution, appraisers can quickly access the repair information they need when writing an appraisal or speaking with a repair partner. As repairs continue to grow in complexity, having access to information that is supplied by the OEMs and integrated into our estimating system will help increase efficiency in completing an estimate that is consistent with applicable repair procedures.”

CCC offered a fully integrated collision repair procedure solution to the marketplace with the release of its Repair Methods solution for repairers last fall. CCC ONE Repair Methods for Insurance comes equipped with automated indicators that offer visual cues and prompts to alert appraisers when OEM information is available. CCC ONE Repair Methods offers procedures for complex and everyday repair situations including sectioning, welding, mechanical and technical service information. And, because CCC ONE Repair Methods is integrated with CCC ONE Estimating, data is updated online, keeping information current without the need for manual CD and DVD updates.
