AMI Announces Zurich ‘High Octane’ Scholarship Recipient

Joshua Ingram recognized as management-oriented member of ASA Mechanical Division; receives $1,000 toward trip to CARS.

Joshua IngramThe Automotive Management Institute (AMI), in conjunction with Zurich, formerly Universal Underwriters Group, recently announced Joshua A. Ingram, general manager of Colchin Automotive Inc. in Arvada, Colo., as the recipient of the Zurich “High Octane” Scholarship. The scholarship recognizes a management-oriented member of the Automotive Service Association (ASA) Mechanical Division. The recipient receives $1,000 to be applied toward expenses to attend educational sessions and view the latest repair technologies and equipment during the Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS), Oct. 10-13, in New Orleans.

Ingram has worked in the automotive service industry for 12 years. He earned the Institute’s Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM) designation in 2007 and holds several ASE certifications. Outside of work, he contributes time to various community and industry organizations.

“I am honored to receive this scholarship from AMI and Zurich. I appreciate both organizations’ commitment to education and the betterment of our industry. This opportunity will allow me to further explore the wealth of management training available at ASRW,” said Ingram.
