Masters School of Autobody Management Releases Fall Class Lineup

Masters School of Autobody Management has released its lineup of fall classes, which will take place at Dave’s Auto Body in Galesburg, Ill., and the Canary Hotel in Santa Barbara, Calif. These courses assist body shop staff in a variety of areas, such as marketing, managing and sales.

The schedule is as follows:

Body Shop Management Essentials

Sept. 17-20 and Oct. 15-18, Galesburg, Ill.
Nov. 5-8, Santa Barbara, Calif.
This three-and-a-half day course provides a plan for collision repairers to succeed in the changing collision repair industry. This program, taught by working professional collision repair shop owners and managers, offers solutions to accomplish the goals of smooth personnel relations, effective production and profitability without combat.
Tuition: $2,495

The Nuts and Bolts of Sales and Estimating
Sept. 21 and Oct. 1, Galesburg, Ill.
This class focuses on practical actions you can take to maximize your estimates while maintaining relationships with insurance companies. The course is taught by people who currently own and manage body shops.

Leadership, Management and Marketing
Oct. 3-4, Galesburg, Ill.
This class brings together the three components of success and helps you understand how to get people to think like you and to perform at the highest level possible while simultaneously respecting your core values in life and in business. A real world practical discussion of Dave Dunn’s book, "Liquid Amalgam," will be presented by the author himself. This is a one-and-a-half day class for people who want more freedom and satisfaction from their business life. Students will be engaged and energized to go home and lead their departments or organizations to distance themselves from the competition.

Cycle Time and Production Management

Oct. 2, Galesburg, Ill.
This one-day class will show attendees how to get more work out the door in less time, for more profit and less stress. Included are dozens of Masters-proven management techniques and tips, covering areas such as scheduling, costs, mark-ups, materials, resources, goals, and production.
