OEConnection LLC, a technology company in Northeast Ohio serving the automotive and heavy-duty truck original equipment parts industries, has been named a "NorthCoast 99" winner for the ninth consecutive year. The award honors great workplaces for top talent in Northeast Ohio. Established in 1999, the program was developed and is presented by the Employers Resource Council (ERC) Northeast Ohio’s largest professional organization dedicated to HR practices, programs and services.
“At OEConnection, we value our associates not as ‘company assets’ but as individuals who bring unique traits and skills to their jobs,” said Amy French, director of marketing and human resources. “By putting our associates first, and listening to their feedback, we have been able to create a workplace that consistently motivates and rewards its associates as well as a culture that is attractive to high performers. This designation affirms that OEConnection is on the right track as an employer of choice for top talent.”
As part of the 2012 NorthCoast 99 Reports, OEConnection is featured in a case study titled "Work/Life & Support Programs," which describes how the company is committed to providing employees with supportive policies and practices to better manage their professional and personal lives.
“OEConnection found that by offering a supportive environment that helped employees balance their work/life, the organization built a culture that was attractive to hard-working and talented professionals and further established it as a ‘destination employer’ in the Northeast Ohio,” the report states.
OEConnection employs approximately 250 associates at its main office in Richfield, Ohio, and a satellite office in Columbus, Ohio. The company will be honored at a banquet ceremony at LaCentre Conference & Banquet Facility in Westlake, Ohio on Wednesday, September 19, 2012.
