VeriFacts Automotive Names Douglas Irish Senior Vice President, Operations

In his new position, Irish will be responsible for day-to-day operations, product planning and development.

Douglas IrishVeriFacts Automotive has announced that Douglas Irish of Albany, N.Y., will join the company as senior vice president, operations, effective immediately. In this new position, Irish will be responsible for day-to-day operations, product planning and development, as well as expanding opportunities into new markets.

"Douglas Irish is a technically sound individual with more than 20 years experience and a proven track record of success managing process improvement, product implementation, direct repair networks, and training and technical development programs,” said Farzam Afshar, VeriFacts Automotive CEO and co-founder. "Throughout his career, Irish has worked with cross-functional teams and driven customer satisfaction, revenue growth and superior financial performance by improving the customer experience, cycle time, quality and efficiency."

Irish held a variety of technical and administrative positions of increasing responsibility over a 20-year period at MetLife, focusing on process improvement, vendor relations, product testing and implementation. He most recently served as claim technical development administrator for that company. In several previous positions, he managed and developed material damage teams, relationships with MSO and consolidator networks and provided expertise for claim processes to the IT department for new product integration. Irish holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Saint Leo University.
