ASRW Announces NACE Anniversary Contest Winners

Grand prize winner receives complimentary hotel room, dinner and theater tickets for two during next year's event.

Automotive Service & Repair Week (ASRW) has announced the winners of the NACE anniversary contest that took place at the event held recently in New Orleans.

All attendees were invited to participate in a special contest on the ASRW show floor. They received an entry form and contest instructions on-site when they picked up their event badges. A drawing was held after the close of the show for all participants who visited each of the 11 30-year NACE exhibitors and completed the required punch-card entry form. Exhibitors celebrating 30 years of NACE participation included ABRN, ASE, Audatex, Automotive Service Association/AutoInc., BodyShop Business, Car-O-Liner, H&S Autoshot, I-CAR, Mitchell, Pull-It and Steck Manufacturing.

The winners and their prizes are as follows:

Third Prize – Doug Bowman, Superior Autobody, Ranson, W. Va.

Three complimentary nights at one of the MGM Resorts International hotels within the 2013 ASRW housing block (sponsored by MGM Resorts International).

Second Prize – Wendy Wold, Quality Auto Body Inc., Menomonie, Wis.
Four complimentary nights and dinner for two (valued at $300) at one of the MGM Resorts International hotels within the 2013 ASRW housing block (sponsored by MGM Resorts International).

Grand Prize – Pam Wilson, Buckhead Collision, Atlanta, Ga.
Six complimentary nights and dinner for two (valued at $300) at one of the MGM Resorts International hotels within the 2013 ASRW housing block, and theater tickets for two at any MGM Resorts International show (sponsored by MGM Resorts International).

“Congratulations to each of these individuals, and thank you for participating in the NACE 30th anniversary festivities,” said Ron Pyle, ASA president. “We also extend our thanks to all participants who attended ASRW and celebrated NACE’s milestone with us in New Orleans.”

Next year’s ASRW events are scheduled to be held Oct. 16-19 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
