SEMA Attendee Wins Battery-Operated Dent Puller in SCRS Prize Giveaway

Washington collision repairer is the lucky winner in a raffle drawing featuring prizes donated by sponsors of SCRS' Repairer Driven Education series.

Dick Delabre, CFO of Autobody USA in
Kalamazoo, Wash., a five-unit operation that repairs more than 5,500
vehicles annually, was the lucky winner of a battery-operated dent puller last week at the SEMA Show thanks to a raffle drawing held by the Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS).

“It was quite exciting to win this tool, especially because it is
battery-powered, which should make it quite convenient to use,” said Delabre.
“When we went to the AIM booth to get our stamp, they took a lot of
quality time with us explaining their product line. We really
appreciated that, and look forward to putting the dent puller to use.”

In conjunction with its Repairer Driven Education (RDE) series, SCRS held a series of raffle drawings at SEMA last week, with prizes donated by sponsors of RDE. One such prize was the portable, battery-operated dent puller from American Innovative Manufacturing (AIM), capable of 2000 amp output and equipped with a removable charging unit.

“Our company is relatively new and this is the first SEMA show we have attended, so we thought partnering with SCRS for this kind of promotion would be good for the visibility of our company,” said AIM owner John Hjatalin. “The battery-powered dent puller is a great tool whose speed and reliability will make any collision repair operation more efficient.”

To become eligible for the drawing, those visiting the SCRS booth had to pick up a “report card” listing all RDE sponsors and their booth locations within the show. The participant then had to visit each RDE sponsor’s exhibit, have a company representative stamp the card and return the completed card to the SCRS booth for entry into the drawing.
