H&V Collision Centers will team up with Progressive Insurance, Catholic Charities and others to make a second donation of a refurbished vehicle to a needy individual during the holiday season.
The second Recycled Rides holiday donation will be made Tuesday, Dec. 18 at 11 a.m. at the Progressive Insurance facility located at 1586 Central Ave. in Colonie, N.Y. The recipient of the vehicle is a local woman recovering from domestic violence incidents.
Last month, H&V teamed up with Catholic Charities and others to donate a refurbished Toyota Camry to a woman also recovering from domestic violence issues. In 2012, H&V and Catholic Charities donated a refurbished van to a family whose son was confined to a wheelchair due to medical issues.
