Two Oregon Fix Auto Franchisees Add New Locations

Three-store owner purchases two existing franchises, while owners of Fix Auto Portland East open second metro Portland location.

Camille Eber and William Bray, co-owners of the new Fix Auto Gladstone location. Two Northwest-based Fix Auto franchisees have recently expanded their businesses with the addition of new locations.

Noel Pennington, owner of Fix Auto Seattle Metro, Fix Auto Burien and Fix Auto Kent, has purchased two existing Oregon-based franchises: Fix Auto Sunset and Fix Auto Beaverton.

“The model was working well for me in my existing locations, so when it came time to consider growing my business, turning to other franchise locations as an option seemed logical,” said Pennington. “I had a good sense of the operations of those businesses through the ‘Going Green Report,’ a powerful peer measurement tool produced by Fix Auto that gives a weekly snapshot of shop KPIs across the entire network. Additionally, I was able to take advantage of a strong foundation of advertising and community involvement because Fix Auto was already an established brand in the markets we would be serving.”

In addition, Fix Auto Portland East co-owners Camille Eber and nephew William Bray have decided to open a second metro Portland location. They purchased Auto Body Technology, transforming the store into a brand and renaming it "Fix Auto Gladstone."

“After we franchised the first shop, my aunt and I began to meet other franchisees who had great success smoothly transitioning to and expanding within the Fix Auto network,” said Bray. “Their enthusiasm was contagious and the model made sense, so we began to seek out purchasing opportunities, concentrating on independent shops with the intention of branding them as Fix Auto. When one surfaced in a great location, we took action and are enthusiastic to be extending Fix Auto’s coverage to a new market.”

Added Paul Gange, Fix Auto president and COO, “Fix Auto provides a streamlined path to expansion, whether a member chooses to buy an already branded facility or make the transition to branding after the purchase. I’d like to congratulate Noel, Camille and William on their growth and business success and thank them for helping illustrate a profound benefit of being part of the Fix Auto organization.”
