AAIA President and CEO Elected to NASTF Board of Directors

The Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) and the National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF) announced that Kathleen Schmatz, president and CEO of AAIA, has been elected to fill a currently vacant director seat on the NASTF Board of Directors, effective immediately.

“The addition of AAIA to NASTF’s base of committed supporters is an exciting opportunity for our entire industry," said Skip Potter, executive director of NASTF.

Added Schmatz, “Ensuring affordable and effective access to the service information, software and sophisticated tools needed to work on late model, computer-controlled vehicles has always been a major goal of AAIA, and we see NASTF as playing a key role in working toward achieving that goal. I am pleased to join the leadership of NASTF and to work with other board members toward growing the effectiveness of the organization in resolving vehicle service issues, and to help build industry awareness support of the organization by the independent vehicle service industry."
