Nashville I-CAR Volunteer Committee Raises $15,000 for Collision Repair Education Foundation

Funds raised to go toward local collision school programs and students.

The Nashville I-CAR Volunteer Committee recently raised more than $15,000 for the Collision Repair Education Foundation during the group’s annual golf fundraiser at the Windtree Golf Club in Mount Juliet, Tenn. The funds raised at the May 15 outing will be invested back into collision school programs and students in the Nashville area through grants and student scholarships from the Collision Repair Education Foundation.

The 100 participating golfers enjoyed lunch, a round of golf, snacks and beverages on the course, and dinner. They also had the opportunity to partake in a putting contest, closest-to-the-pin contest and raffle drawing. Instructors and students from local collision schools were also in attendance and got the chance to speak with the donors who support their school.

The Collision Repair Education Foundation looks forward to working together with this group in the future and our many thanks to all the committee members, sponsors and golfers that made this fundraiser a great success.”

Added I-CAR Nashville Committee Chairman Wayne Griffin, “As State Chairman for Tennessee, I would like to thank all of the Nashville committee members along with all of our great industry supporters who came together to make this event a huge success. I am very proud of their efforts to support our industry and the education programs in the area.
