CCC Launches Mobile Appraisal App for iPhone

CCC ONE Mobile Appraiser allows insurance staff to capture vehicle damage directly from their smartphones.

CCC Information Services has announced the availability of CCC ONE Mobile Appraiser, a mobile application to help insurance staff appraisers capture pertinent damage information right at the vehicle. The new app, available for iPhone users, enables field staff to use their phones to scan the vehicle’s VIN and capture photos, which then sync wirelessly to CCC ONE Estimating.

“Appraisers are increasingly looking to capture as much data as possible at the vehicle to help improve the speed and efficiency of the information-gathering process and their interactions with the consumer,” said Barrett Callaghan, general manager and senior vice president, insurance services group for CCC. “The CCC ONE platform was designed to support our customers’ changing workflows, and today that means solutions to support a mobile workforce and anytime, anywhere access to data that will make them more productive. CCC ONE Mobile Appraiser version 1.0 accomplishes both and sets the stage to support even more field appraiser activity in the future.”

Users of CCC ONE Mobile Appraiser do not need a separate digital camera to capture vehicle photos; the only device needed is their smartphone. The app captures the vehicle photos and users then simply select which photos they would like to sync with CCC ONE Estimating.

To download the app, visit the App Store.
