Collision Repair Education Foundation Adds Two Members to Board of Trustees

Bruce Clifton, VP insurance replacement and fleet rental divisions for Enterprise Holdings, and Jeanne Silver, co-owner of CARSTAR Mundelein, join organization's board.

The Collision Repair Education Foundation welcomes Bruce Clifton, VP insurance replacement and fleet rental divisions for Enterprise Holdings, and Jeanne Silver, co-owner of CARSTAR Mundelein, to its Board of Trustees.

The Board of Trustees consists of industry members who provide guidance in the organization’s efforts to support high school, technical school and college collision students nationwide. The Board selects recipients of the organization’s annual student scholarships and tool grants, in addition to naming the winning Ultimate Collision Education Makeover schools.

Clifton began his career with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in 1985 as a management trainee in Indianapolis. Named vice president of the insurance replacement division in 1996, today Clifton oversees the efforts of more than 20 people, including five corporate officers, who are responsible for managing the company’s insurance replacement business at a national level. A graduate of Franklin College in Franklin, Ind., Clifton resides in St. Louis with his three daughters.

Silver celebrates more than 30 years within the collision industry and 17 years with her current employer, CARSTAR Mundelein. Including her involvement with numerous local volunteer organizations, she has participated in industry organizations/associations that include the Collision Industry Foundation, Women’s Industry Network, National Auto Body Council and the Collision Industry Conference. She was also selected as the 2004 Collision Repair Executive of the Year and a 2002 Most Influential Women in the Industry recipient.

“Our collision repair partners have played a key role in the growth of our company’s insurance replacement rental business," said Clifton. "I am pleased to be a part of this effort to prepare young people for careers in an industry that is so vital to our success and the overall success of the industry.”

Added Silver, “The future of the collision industry depends on a well-educated workforce. The Collision Repair Education Foundation aids the process, and I am honored to be included among industry leaders who give of their time and expertise to further this important cause.”

Collision Repair Education Foundation Executive Director Clark Plucinski noted, “I would like to thank Bruce and Jeanne for joining our Board of Trustees. As our Board helps guide the direction of the organization in supporting the industry’s future professionals, both of these individuals will be a great addition to our group.”
