WIN Photo Challenge Deadline Fast Approaching

Organization collaborates with the Collision Repair Education Foundation to create an awareness poster to showcase women's roles in the industry.

The Sept. 1 entry deadline for The Women’s Industry Network (WIN) Photo Challenge is fast approaching. WIN is collaborating with the Collision Repair Education Foundation to create an awareness poster to showcase the many roles of women in the industry. The poster will be distributed to more than 1,100 high school and college collision school programs across the country this fall.

Businesses and individuals in the industry are invited to submit creative photos of the women in their workforce and the unique roles they perform. Winners will be selected by committee based on photo quality, creativity and representation of the role performed.
Entry form and full details for the Photo Challenge are available on the WIN website at www.WomensIndustryNetwork.com. Entries must be received no later than midnight on Sept. 1.

"The photos we’ve received to date demonstrate the incredible variety of roles available within our industry," said Ruth Weniger, chair of WIN’s communications committee. "With this poster, we hope to illustrate to female students all the roles and paths open to them in the collision repair industry. We are thrilled to work with the Collision Repair Education Foundation on this exciting new awareness campaign."

"The Collision Repair Education Foundation is excited to partner with WIN on this project to showcase women within the industry to high school and college collision students," said Director of Grant Programs Melissa Marscin. "Regardless of the industry segment, female collision students will see that there are many opportunities for a successful career path."
