SCRS Reports 250 Percent Increase in RDE Registration at SEMA Show

Repairer Driven Education program experiences spike of more than 1,000 additional registrations, according to SCRS.

With one month remaining for early-bird pricing for the SEMA Show and the Society of Collision Repair Specialists’ (SCRS) Repairer Driven Education (RDE) program, SCRS is reporting a 250 percent increase in registrations compared to last year.

"We have already seen a spike of over 1,000 additional registrations," said SCRS Executive Director Aaron Schulenburg. "I think one of the biggest draws is all the opportunity that accompanies our RDE education series. I-CAR has a great array of technical training and presentations that complements our informational offerings in the classrooms, and virtually every product and service you could imagine is available on the show floor.

"If you want to network, there are receptions in the evening and meetings during the day, such as the Collision Industry Conference on Wednesday and Thursday. For shops who are actively engaged in the industry, or those who want to be, virtually every industry trade group is holding meetings or events in Las Vegas including well-known organizations such as AASP, ASA, CREF, I-CAR, NABC, NASTF, OEM Collision Repair Roundtable and SCRS. It is absolutely where the collision industry is, and it has created a very catered feel for collision repairers at the show."
