Matrix System has announced that it will host its first annual silent auction to help support the Collision Repair Education Foundation. Custom artwork for more than 20 automotive artists will be on display at SEMA Booth 11025.
Artists 4 Education is a campaign that aims to raise money through fundraising activities that involve the expert skills of the automotive industry’s top artists across the country. In addition, with the participation of various industry partners such as Nuplex Resins, M.F. Cachet Company, Chromaflo Technologies, Dan-Am Company/SATA, Airbrush Action, Anest Iwata, Dedoes Industries, Dorn Color, Miller Electric, FBS – Finding Better Solutions and Pro-Spray Finishes, cash donations and items were donated to help support the cause.
During the show, painters such as Steve DeMan (Kolor Kings), Bugs (Bugs Auto Art), Flea, Ryan Evans (Count’s Kustoms) and Josh Bourassa (True Kustom Industries) will be pinstriping various items exclusively with Matrix System products. All of these painters have been in the industry for more than 20 years doing what they love. Visitors are encouraged to stop by to see them in action.
"Our first annual Artists 4 Education campaign has been a huge success," said David Brunori, president of Quest Automotive Products. "We have reached out to organizations that have benefited for many years from the PBE industry for additional support. It is our responsibility as industry participants to support the Collision Repair Education Foundation. The sole purpose of this endeavor is to raise awareness to the growing shortage of certified technicians entering into the collision repair industry – it is that simple. The automotive artist community has stepped up in a big way, and we are humbled by the commitment of these individuals.”
