Zara’s Collision Center, a Springfiled, Ill.-based body shop, will donate a completely refurbished vehicle to a deserving local individual on Wednesday, Dec. 11 through its Benevolence Program.
The idea for the Benevolence Program arose from the accumulation of vehicles each year that need to be written off by the owner or an insurance company. The program is in its 14th year and since its inception has donated 25 vehicles (counting this year).
The presentation of the vehicle will take place at noon at the shop. A recipient and donor appreciation luncheon will follow.
