National Auto Body Council Announces Winner of 2013 Body Shop Image Award

Dave's Auto Body Co. in Omaha, Neb., recognized for recent renovation of shop's interior and exterior appearance.

A newly renovated reception area greets customers.The National Auto Body Council (NABC) has selected Dave’s Auto Body Co. in Omaha, Neb., as the recipient of its 2013 Body Shop Image Award.
 
Two additional collision repair facilities were also announced as runners-up in this year’s awards program – Cook’s Collision Inc. in Walnut Creek, Calif., and Car West Auto Body in San Jose, Calif.
 
The NABC Body Shop Image Award was created to recognize collision repair facilities that have had a beneficial impact on their communities through building and design improvements.
 
According to Kent Seavey, chair of the NABC awards program, the selection committee chose Dave’s Auto Body Co. as this year’s winner based on the complete floor-to-ceiling transformation of the facility’s interior and exterior spaces, including improvements such as landscaping around the building and parking areas located on city property.
 
“We commend Mark Schumacher of Dave’s Auto Body Co. for his vision and goal to create a functional and visually positive physical environment that benefits not only their customers and employees but the community as well,” said Seavey.
