Mitchell Integrates with Nuventory to Offer Inventory Management Services to Body Shops

Shops can now re-order materials, recover item costs and track usage without leaving the Mitchell Repair workspace.

Mitchell has announced a new technology integration with Nuventory LLC. Now, through a partnership with the RepairCenter ToolStore, auto body repair shops can manage and inventory materials directly from the RepairCenter Workspace. By integrating with RepairCenter ToolStore, customers can utilize Nuventory to re-order materials, recover costs for items not on the original estimate and track usage without leaving the Mitchell Repair workspace.

Nuventory is independent of a vendor, which allows shop owners to switch vendors without losing history or having to implement and train software. Nuventory was designed specifically for the shop owners to create a standard material list, control the amount of inventory on hand and to track technician usage. The simple-to-use software can be implemented with minimal training and can help increase the bottom line by allowing shop owners to take control of what is purchased, the amount of product on hand in the shop and to spot trends of how product is being used.

"Before Nuventory, the industry had many challenges when it came to materials management, as switching vendors automatically meant installing new software and losing their usage history," said Leslie Ross, CEO of Nuventory. "Now, the power is back in the owner’s hands, and working with Mitchell ensures Nuventory has greater visibility for these owners who need a solution."

RepairCenter ToolStore is a dynamic marketplace that empowers body shops to connect with their critical collision repair trading partners and third-party add-on tools that help streamline workflows and run their businesses more profitably and efficiently. It features solutions across multiple categories, such as paint, rental, parts, analytics, accessories, compliance, digital marketing and customer satisfaction.

"We’re excited to have Nuventory be a part of our ToolStore marketplace," said Jim O’Leary, VP of repair solutions at Mitchell. "Our mission is to ensure that shops can efficiently connect with their collision repair trading partners, and we’re continuing to grow the ecosystem to bring these benefits to more and more shops nationwide."
