Kaeser Compressors Inc. has published a new entry on the different costs associated with compressed air that must be considered when purchasing new equipment. to their company blog, “Kaeser Talks Shop,” at www.kaesertalksshop.com. The blog is authored by System Design Engineer Susan Hodges.
“People often only think about the initial purchase price of a compressor,” said Hodges. “Unfortunately, that neglects other significant cost factors such as installation, energy efficiency, maintenance, and lost time and materials. It’s important to consider each of these areas to truly understand the complete cost of owning a particular piece of equipment.”
Kaeser’s blog also features articles such as, “Receiver Tanks for Small Compressed Air Systems,” “Piston Versus Rotary Screw Compressors” and “CAGI Data Sheets: An Apples to Apples Comparison.”
