CCC Launches Mobile Estimating App

Company says ONE Touch is first vehicle repair estimating app built specifically for mobile device, supporting multi-point gestures.

Writing an estimate at the vehicle is now a reality as CCC Information Services has announced that its CCC ONE Touch mobile estimating app is available for download via the Windows Store.

CCC ONE Touch is extending the CCC ONE Estimating logic, creating a mobile app that leverages human touch as an efficient and simple means of documenting vehicle damage. It’s the first vehicle repair estimating app that is built specifically for a mobile device using an intuitive user interface designed to support multi-point gestures, according to the company.

A pre-release of CCC ONE Touch has been in use by hundreds of repair shops since October 2013.

“Using the app allows us to give the customer a more personal experience, keep the customer engaged in the estimating process and increases our capture ratio,” said Brian Huntley, bodyshop manager, Jack Maxton Chevrolet in Columbus, Ohio.

“When we set out to build CCC ONE Touch, our goal was to improve estimate accuracy and create more efficiency for the industry,” said Joseph Allen, general manager, CCC Automotive Services Group. “Not only are early adopters seeing those benefits, but what we’ve been told is that CCC ONE Touch changes the way they engage with their customers. Estimators can check in a vehicle, complete the estimate and print a copy as they stand with their customer. This engagement is being used to educate, build trust and capture more business.”

CCC ONE Touch is now available at no additional charge to all CCC ONE Estimating repair shop customers who subscribe to CCC ONE Documents (digital imaging). The app is specifically developed to run on a wide variety of tablet devices that run on the Windows operating system (version 8.1).
