CCC Updates Crash Course Report to Include Infographic and Webinar Series

Online educational sessions to focus on vehicle complexity, data and predictive analytics, and driving customer satisfaction.

CCC Information Services has announced the release of its most recent Crash Course report, which now includes an infographic and live webinar series.

Crash Course, an in-depth report that focuses on the factors driving auto collision repair and total loss costs, is compiled using research and information from a wide range of sources and an aggregated set of data from CCC’s data warehouse, which includes approximately 140 million claims’ worth of information.

“The auto physical damage industry continues to move quickly as weather patterns, regulatory factors, advancements in technology and consumer preferences for products and services evolve and converge,” said Susanna Gotsch, lead analyst for CCC. “This year’s report looks at these factors individually and together to help provide perspective on the overarching impact they have, and will continue to have, on our industry. We’re excited to extend the information reported on in Crash Course to other formats, which we hope will provide a more comprehensive view of the broader marketplace for collision repairers, insurance carriers, parts suppliers and other industry participants.”

The Crash Course 2014 report, infographic and webinar series takes a unique look at market forces, technology advancements, changing behaviors of today’s consumers and the impact these dynamics have on automotive claims and collision repair. Crash Course also includes data and analysis on auto claims frequency, loss and repair costs and parts utilization trends.

The following webinars will be held as part of the Crash Course Webinar Series. All webinars will be held at 1 p.m. Central.

  • April 15 – Vehicle Complexity and Repairability
A discussion on material sophistication and rising repair costs.
  • April 22 – A Consumer’s Journey

  • April 24 – Data and Predictive Analytics
