AkzoNobel’s Jessica Rob, communications manager and online Web communications professional, has been selected as one of five new members to join the Women’s Industry Network (WIN) Board of Directors. She will be introduced and officially welcomed by seated directors and WIN members at-large at the 2014 "Power Up" Educational Conference, May 5-7 at Paradise Point in San Diego, Calif.
The WIN Board currently consists of 12 sitting members, including Michelle Sullivan, AkzoNobel’s distribution key account manager. Board members may serve up to two three-year terms and represent a variety of industry segments including collision repair shops, jobbers, suppliers, consultants, information providers and insurance companies. Together, they are committed to advancing the organization’s objectives, which focus on an encouraging environment of education, recruitment, retention and networking of women in the collision repair industry.
“I am very pleased to have been selected for this board position with WIN,” said Rob. “I’ve participated as an organization member for several years and have been very impressed with not only the enthusiastic growth of its membership, but in how it is helping to shape and influence the role of women in collision repair.
