BASF Canada Accepting Entries for 2015 Calendar Contest

Deadline to submit photos is June 24.

BASF Canada is now accepting entries for its 35th annual calendar, which will be distributed across North America. The contest is open to shops located in the U.S. and Canada.

The 2015 large wall calendar will feature six cars. Vehicles must be pristine, antique or older model classic cars painted with BASF Glasurit or R-M finishes.

Entries are due by June 24 and will be judged on the quality of the finish, technical difficulty and artistry/uniqueness. Winners will be notified by July 1.

The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) announced it is hosting a free webinar titled “Pros, Cons & SOPs for Aftermarket Sheet Metal” on Tuesday, April 30 at 4 p.m. EST.

Automotive aftermarket sheet metal has been the industry standard since the 1970s, and many times the reputation for these parts is less than good. Some companies rise above the rest with quality, fit and finish, but it is a difficult world to navigate with constantly changing parts and standards.
