Axalta Coating Systems North America Chief Information Officer Delivers Data Security Presentation

Six Sigma Black Belt Ceri Danheux presented during the CIO Executive Council's member webcast.

Ceri Danheux, chief information officer for Axalta Coating Systems North America and Six Sigma Black Belt, recently shared her perspectives as a presenter during the CIO Executive Council’s member webcast titled, "Data Security Issues and Answers."

The event was attended by technology leaders from some of the country’s Fortune 500 and 1000 organizations. The topic was timely, Axalta said, as data and network security consistently top the lists of concerns for most organizations. With the increased usage of smartphones, tablets and other computing devices, companies of all sizes are looking for new and more agile ways to protect data resources from the risks of malicious and unintentional breaches.

“The Council provides members with an opportunity not only to network, but also share information and ideas that can be of great benefit to our industry and, ultimately, the organizations we work for,” said Danheux. “I am pleased to have been a presenter and to have been able to share Axalta’s cyber security experience with systems that support more than 12,000 employees and 120,000 customers around the world.”

The CIO Executive Council is a member-led executive organization of global business leaders working to drive value from the intersection of business, information technology and strategy. Through peer reliance, collaboration and outreach, members apply the knowledge, insights and best practices of their peers to the success of their enterprises and their own personal achievement.
