The Latin Expo Group and the Auto Care Association announced that they’re making a joint $10,000 donation to Niños de Cristal this week during the first-ever Latin Auto Parts Expo in Panama.
Niños de Cristal is a Panamanian charitable institution that cares for children with osteogenesis imperfect, a genetic bone disorder also known as brittle bone disease, which is characterized by fragile bones that break easily.
The presentation of the check will be made at the official inauguration ceremony July 9, 2014 at 5 p.m. by Gustavo Lima, CEO, Latin Expo Group LLC and Kathleen Schmatz, president and CEO, Auto Care Association.
“We are pleased that, with our Latin Auto Parts Expo special partners Auto Care Association, we are able to contribute this small token of support for such a wonderful charity in Panama,” said Lima.
Added Schmatz, “The Auto Care Association views partnerships as more than just business, so we are delighted to demonstrate our compassion to a worthy local cause that helps the children of Panama."
The first-ever Latin Auto Parts Expo is this week, July 9-11, 2014, at the Atlapa Convention Center in Panama City, Panama. The Auto Care Association is hosting an on-site member pavilion with more than 40 member companies exhibiting, in addition to an Auto Care Association member center, networking reception and education sessions.
