ChemSpec USA Announces Several Organizational Changes

President Rob Simpson to retire; Ron Snow to assume role as president; Adam Fritz named operations manager.

ChemSpec USA Inc. has announced several organizational changes.

Rob Simpson, president, will be retiring from the company.

“It is with great sadness that we announce that Rob Simpson will be retiring this November from ChemSpec,” said Baron Schreuder, CEO. “Rob was a true professional in the field and built a very accomplished team of people here in the U.S. Of his 32 years in the industry, the last six were with ChemSpec. We wish Rob well in all his future endeavors.”

Moving forward, Ron Snow, formerly vice president of operations/general manager, has been promoted to president and will assume full responsibility for the business in the U.S.

“We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Ron Snow to the position of president of ChemSpec USA,” said Schreuder. “Ron was part of the original business that was acquired by ChemSpec and, through hard work and dedication, has helped to build a reputation in the business for being both a solutions- and customer-orientated person as well as a strong team player, a person which we are very proud of and who thoroughly deserves his new role.”

Snow joined the company in 1998 when it was known as Montana Products as a quality control lab technician. Since that time, he has quickly been promoted through the ranks and has served in areas of the company ranging from technical, brand management and sales. Most recently, he served as the vice president of operations/general manager, where he was responsible for all aspects of the company’s operations in the U.S. As president of the company, he will continue executing his strategic vision to strengthen ChemSpec USA’s position in the automotive and fleet industry worldwide.

Adam Fritz, formerly procurement manager, has been promoted to operations manager with responsibility for production, warehousing, maintenance and procurement departments.

“Adam has held many positions within the organization, including shipping and receiving manager and most recently the position of procurement manager,” said Snow. “He is well-rounded and experienced for this position, and we are excited to have him move into this role.”

Fritz began working in 2002 as a part-time production worker for Montana Products. In 2003, he came to work full-time in ChemSpec’s shipping department. Throughout his career, he has had many responsibilities, ranging from shipping supervisor to warehouse manager and buyer to his most recent position as procurement manager.
