Industry companies are being asked to consider adopting one (or several) local collision school programs to enhance their professional appearance by sponsoring the purchase of new epoxy floor coating through the Collision Repair Education Foundation. As many collision school program floors have not been worked on since the program opened, a newly epoxied floor provides a professional appearance for visiting school administration, parents and prospective students.

The following collision programs are 2014 Ultimate Collision Education Makeover grant applicants and, if provided the epoxy floor coating, have committed to being able to prepare their current floors and apply the sponsored floor epoxy:

“The industry is in demand of highly motivated and skilled entry-level employees,” said Collision Repair Education Foundation Director of Development Brandon Eckenrode. “To attract this level of student, we have an opportunity and an obligation to assist the high school and college collision school programs to ensure they look like professional learning environments. The ‘before’ and ‘after’ pictures of the schools that we have already with new flooring showcase how this type of project provides a ‘foundation of professionalism.’ I invite the industry to join us in helping even more schools.”

Industry members who are interested in adopting one of the listed collision school programs and learning more about the sponsorship amounts for each school should contact Brandon Eckenrode at [email protected] or (847) 463-5244.
