ASA Annual Meeting Set For April 20-22 in Washington, D.C.

ASA’s Annual Business Meeting to be Held April 20-22 in Washington, D.C.

All ASA members are invited to attend an open board meeting on Tuesday, April 21, and Lobby Day on Capitol Hill on Wednesday, April 22.

The Automotive Service Association (ASA) will hold its annual business meeting April 20-22 at The Westin Crystal City Hotel in Arlington, Va., near Washington, D.C. The event will kick off with a welcome party reception Monday evening, April 20.

All ASA members are invited to attend an open board meeting Tuesday, April 21, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 pm. The board meeting will be followed by the swearing-in of a new chairman, along with other board members. Lunch will be served prior to the open meeting. Dan Risley, ASA president/executive director, will deliver a state-of-the-association address.

ASA members are invited to participate in Lobby Day on Capitol Hill on Wednesday, April 22. During that time, members will have an opportunity to visit congressional offices in the nation’s capitol. A Capitol Hill reception will be held afterwards.

Housing and transportation arrangements will be the responsibility of each attendee. The room rate for ASA members at The Westin Crystal City Hotel is $269 per night. Hotel reservations may be made by calling (888) 627-8209 and asking for the “Automotive Service Association” room block to receive the special rate.

The closest airport to the hotel is Washington Reagan National Airport. The Westin Crystal City Hotel has a complimentary shuttle van that runs to and from the airport every 30 minutes, making stops at Terminals A, B and C.
