Dent Wizard Launches New App to Manage Claims

New app provides a convenient, intuitive way for dealership customer service personnel or dealership customers to file and manage Ding Shield claims electronically.

Dent Wizard International announced it has introduced Smart Claims from Ding Shield, an app that provides a convenient, intuitive way for dealership customer service personnel or dealership customers to file and manage Ding Shield claims electronically. Ding Shield is a service plan that covers PDR and other SMART repairs.

With Smart Claims, users can file a claim when and where they want, using any mobile device. The app’s intuitive design features a function that lets users identify damaged areas using pictures and a menu of options. Users also have the option to upload a photo of the damage to the vehicle. The app is backed up with a 1-800 number for immediate phone help with questions or issues.

Smart Claims can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play under “Ding Shield.” Claims can also be filed online. Dealers can contact their Dent Wizard rep to learn more with an in-person demonstration or webinar.

“Smart Claims addresses the evolving needs and desires of the new generation of car buyers, the tech-reliant millennials,” said Aaron Cooper, Dent Wizard’s national director of F&I. “And it’s perfect for the growing use of tablets in today’s dealerships.
