Collision Repair Education Foundation’s Golf Fundraiser Sells Out

A waiting list has been created for the event taking place Wednesday, July 22, 2015 in Detroit at the Arnold Palmer-designed Northville Hills Golf Club.

The Collision Repair Education Foundation’s 14th annual summer golf fundraiser, taking place Wednesday, July 22, 2015 in Detroit at the Arnold Palmer-designed Northville Hills Golf Club, has sold out and a waiting list has been created for those interested in playing. Golfers can register online. This fundraiser takes place in conjunction with NACE | CARS and the Collision Industry Conference industry meetings being held that week in Detroit. Funds raised through this event assist the Education Foundation in providing support to collision repair students and their school’s collision programs. Additional registration spots are anticipated to open up, and those that contact the Collision Repair Education Foundation will be included in the event on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Industry members not able to attend this event are encouraged to participate in the LORD Corporation-sponsored helicopter golf ball drop where one individual will win up to $12,000. Golfers or nongolfers can purchase golf balls online ($20 per ball) that will be dropped from a helicopter over a hole on the Northville Hills Golf Club course the day of the event. Whoever sponsors the numbered golf ball that goes in the hole (or gets closest to the pin) will win 50 percent of the total funds raised from the golf ball drop. Participants do not need to be present to win, and if all 1,200 golf balls are sold, the winner will be awarded $12,000.

Those interested in being added to the golf fundraiser waiting list should contact Director of Development Brandon Eckenrode at [email protected] or call (847) 463-5244.
