Stan Mitchell Enterprises Launches 'TechTalk'

Stan Mitchell Enterprises Launches ‘TechTalk’ Online Forum

The site is designed to be an opportunity for techs to talk to their peers about a variety of industry issues.

Columbus, Ohio-based Stan Mitchell Enterprises has launched a members-only technician discussion online forum designed to be an opportunity for techs to talk to like-minded techs discussing today’s challenging vehicle designs, repair procedure advancements, shop environment realities, and upcoming challenges related to remaining proficient and prepared for the future.

“It is time for technicians to engage fully in the industry they call a career,” says Bill Sefcek, Stan Mitchell president. “The technician is truly the responsible party for the completion of high quality collision repairs. I am confident we can draw on engaged techs to push up the required efficiencies in workflows and systems as well as real-world, front-line perspectives on appropriate and satisfactory equipment and material use demanded in the remanufacturing repair process. It has been my experience that the technician is eager and passionate in the demonstration of their uncompromised skills.”

The overall goal of the site, according to Stan Mitchell, is to ask technicians to appreciate the repair industry for the career they have chosen and participate in its evolution.

The program is currently mediated by two technicians receiving and reviewing all comments to make sure they adhere to a positive and progressive criteria. There will be verification of technician credentials and a one-and-out policy relating to unfavorable comments. The site will be monitored and adjusted based upon the needs they find being requested.
