Through a program with the Collision Repair Education Foundation, CCC Information Services Inc. (CCC) surpassed more than $4 million in software subscription donations to collision repair schools in 2015. The schools that received the subscriptions completed the Education Foundation’s Collision Repair School Solutions Survey, which provides data on schools and areas where support is needed. The CCC ONE Estimating software package provided to schools by CCC includes digital imaging capabilities, access to tire and recall databases, paintless dent repair, frame specifications, and access to CCC ONE Touch, CCC’s mobile estimating solution that enables users to write estimates right at the car.

“The Collision Repair Education Foundation is proud to once again partner with CCC Information Services to provide this invaluable opportunity for schools,” said Clark Plucinski, Collision Repair Education Foundation executive director. “With very limited funding, collision schools are not always able to purchase the latest programs and technologies to teach their students. Now they will have the chance to teach their students with a program that they will encounter after graduation, which will ultimately help make them a better entry-level employee.”

Added Mary Jo Prigge, president, Services Operations, CCC, “It’s important that students can access and receive training on the technology and tools collision repairers use in their daily operations. We’re proud to partner with the Collision Repair Education Foundation to help bring the latest in estimating and mobile technology to the classroom. A prepared student can make a more immediate and positive impact on the industry, which is important to us and our customers.”
