Zara’s Receives Russ Verona Memorial Award for Industry Achievement

Zara’s Collision Center of Springfield, Ill., recently was recognized for achievement in the collision repair industry with the Russ Verona Memorial Award. Brad Zara, owner of Zara’s Collision Center, accepted the award on behalf of the business at the I-CAR International Annual Meeting in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Eligibility for the award is based on achieving the I-CAR Gold Class Professionals designation for a minimum of five years (Zara’s has achieved the designation for 11 consecutive years) and actively promoting and conducting the Gold Class training.

The award is in honor of Russ Verona, owner and operator of the first-ever I-CAR Gold Class Professionals designated business, who became a role model for the entire collision repair industry. Judges for the award are comprised of I-CAR staff, executive committee, board of directors and representatives of the collision repair industry.

Zara’s Collision Center, now in its 22nd year of business, is recognized for the long-term service of its staff and I-CAR and ASE certified technicians. So far in 2008, Zara’s customer satisfaction rating is 99.5 percent as reported by the customer satisfaction index (CSI) complete survey firm.
