CIECA to Host Webinar on Free Text

CIECA to Host Webinar on the Issue of Free Text

The May 17th webinar will focus on how to get more recycled part orders.

CIECA announced it is hosting a webinar May 17th at 11:00 a.m. CDT. Ginny Whelan and Brian Tenley will speak about the costly issue of free text.

The webinar will focus on how to get more recycled part orders.

“Sellers say, ‘When the parts vendors scrub my data they don’t do it right?’ Buyers say, ‘The description is deceiving, it says headlight, and it is not the full assembly, just the lens only.’ The interim step before all inventory systems have the needed fields, is to make it easier for software applications to correctly pull data contained in the parts inventory system so buyers know what they are buying.”

CIECA and ARA are working together to standardize the free form text fields in Inventory Systems. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
