The Collision Repair Education Foundation announced it will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony at Thomas Edison Career and Technical High School’s (Jamaica, N.Y.) collision program on May 18th, as they were the recipient of the 2014 $50,000 Ultimate Collision Education Makeover school grant. Industry members are invited to come to the event for a tour of the program and to meet with school administration, collision instructors and students.
“We invite the entire collision industry to join us at the ribbon cutting on May 18th,” said Collision Repair Education Foundation Director of Grant Programs Melissa Marscin. “Barry Roopnarine and the administration have done a fantastic job in utilizing the grant to transform the collision program, and we want to celebrate this with the students, staff, local community and industry members.”
