AutoWatch Founder Dave Henderson Dies at 62

Henderson, who died suddenly at his home on June 20th, is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sharon, children Melissa, Jason, Bryan and Daniel, and a host of grandchildren and siblings.

Dave Henderson, founder of AutoWatch, a system that allows body shop customers to literally see the progress of their vehicle repair through the Internet and a shop’s interactive website, died suddenly at his home on June 20th. He was 62.

Henderson is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sharon, children Melissa, Jason, Bryan and Daniel, and a host of grandchildren and siblings. Family will receive friends on Friday, June 24th from 3 to 9 p.m. at Coats Funeral Home in Clarkston, Mich. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 25th at 11 a.m. at Hope Community Church, 1240 Jay Street, Waterford, Mich.

His passions, according to an obituary on the Coats Funeral Home website, were water skiing, boating, remote airplanes, scuba diving, family reunions and youth ministries.
