Collision Repair Education Foundation to Hold 2nd Annual Cars, Careers and Celebrities Expo

The event serves as both a career fair and trade show that is meant to showcase the collision industry as a viable career option for consideration.

Collision-Repair-Education-Foundation-logoThe Collision Repair Education Foundation will be holding its 2nd annual Cars, Careers & Celebrities Expo Friday, Sept. 16th at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Ill., during NASCAR Weekend.

The event serves as both a career fair and trade show that is meant to showcase the collision industry as a viable career option for consideration. To date, there are roughly 20 companies participating, and the event will include mock interviews, demonstrations, hands-on exercises, scheduled appearances by NASCAR drivers and the ability for students to speak with industry employers. The schedule is as follows:

Thursday, Sept. 15th

  • 2-4 p.m. – Vendor set-up
  • Evening reception for sponsors/vendors in Lombard, Ill.

Friday, Sept. 16th

  • 8-10 a.m. – Vendor set-up
  • 11 a.m.-5 p.m. – Expo with students
