Valspar Automotive has renewed its contract with Larsen Motorsports for the 2017 race season, sponsoring the jet dragster team with its Matrix Automotive Finishes line of products.

Jet pack cars driven by Kat Moller, Elaine Larsen, Dawn Perdue, Allison West and Jake Elliott are finished exclusively in Matrix products with full-on graphics supporting the Matrix brand.

“The entire Matrix system is designed to deliver quality and performance, and there’s no greater testament than having it go hundreds of miles per hour down the track,” said Laura Yerkey, director of marketing, Valspar Automotive. “You can’t be in the automotive industry without having some level of involvement in racing. Larsen is the perfect partner for us, representing everything we support and stand for. And most importantly, the Larsen team is made up of true role models for everyone to look up to, not just those of us in automotive and racing.”

Since 2010, the Matrix brand has been showcased at drag strips around the country on cars and racing trailers thanks to the Larsen team.
