BodyShop Business Publisher Scott Shriber was recently honored by the Automotive Service Association (ASA) Collision Division with the ASA Phoenix Award.

Shriber received the award at the Celebration of Excellence and AMi Graduation held on Aug. 12th at NACE | CARS.

Dan Risley, president and executive director of ASA, surprised Shriber with the award, which “represents the courage to rise and lead.”

“Scott represents what is best defined as a true industry partner,” said Risley. “He is committed to helping ASA and the collision repair industry. When NACE | CARS was struggling, there was one person who called me and said, ‘Tell me what I can do to help.’ That was four years ago. Ironically, it was the same statement Scott made to me when I saw him in Anaheim during this year’s show. His unwavering commitment to help play a role in resurrecting NACE warrants recognition and our sincere appreciation. He was there when we needed it most.”

Added Shriber, “I am truly honored to have been recognized by ASA with this prestigious award. I take great pleasure in supporting ASA and everything they do and remain committed to helping them succeed in the future.”
