CARSTAR Colorado Business Group Donates 12th Restored Vehicle to Local Family

The shop owners from the Colorado CARSTAR locations teamed up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to make a local man's wish a reality.

The CARSTAR Colorado Business Group helped make a wish come true for a local Denver family with a restored vehicle in honor of their son who passed away this past January.

When Cal Stevens found out he was terminally ill, he asked that his Dodge Durango get restored/refurbished for his brother Niko. The shop owners from the Colorado CARSTAR locations teamed up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to make his wish a reality. It is the 12th vehicle they have restored together.

Partners in the project included:

  • Employees of CARSTAR Alpine Auto Body
  • Colorado CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts
  • ATD Auto Trim of Denver
  • Accurate Auto Towing
  • Discount Tire Wheels & Tires (Buckley & Smokey Hill)
  • J&M Glass
  • New World Paintless Dent Repair
  • Striped by Louie
  • Stereo Warehouse (Alarm, Auto Start, Stereo Amp, Sub)
  • Auto Weave Denver

The CARSTAR team presented the vehicle to Niko Stevens last week at CARSTAR Alpine Auto Body.

“We have been honored to work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help make wishes come true for members of our community,” said Gary Boesel, owner of CARSTAR Alpine Auto Body and CARSTAR Jordan Road Collision. “We restore a lot of cars for local drivers, but none are more special than the ones we do with Make-A-Wish Foundation for wish recipients and their families.”
