Mitchell Parts Procurement is powered by and created through a strategic alliance with uParts, a cloud-based parts procurement company.

Mitchell Parts will now connect collision repair shops with their suppliers to streamline and automate the parts procurement process, benefiting all parties in the automotive claims and collision repair supply chain. Under the strategic alliance, the companies will deliver deep integration between the uParts platform and Mitchell’s UltraMate, Estimating and RepairCenter solutions. This will empower both Mitchell and uParts customers with a comprehensive solution designed to streamline their end-to-end parts procurement needs.

“Mitchell Parts underscores our commitment to our clients, enabling us to deliver on the promise of empowering better outcomes,” said Debbie Day, executive vice president and general manager of Mitchell’s Auto Physical Damage Business Unit. “We chose to partner with uParts based on their superior technology and deep understanding of the entire procurement process. Managing the entire workflow and handling all exceptions from a single cloud-based portal helps our shops increase their operational efficiencies while reducing their cycle time.”

Added Alex Adegan, CEO of uParts, “Mitchell has a rich history of innovation in collision repair and claims management. Together, Mitchell and uParts offer a comprehensive parts solution that levels the playing field to satisfy the needs of all sides of the transaction. Mitchell’s leadership coupled with our decades of experience in collision parts is a perfect combination for streamlining business operations of all parties in the process.”
